Important HydroVision deadlines are approaching

We’ve still got several weeks before reaching what I’d generally consider to be the dog days of summer, but being in a slight doldrums now just a bit over a month until HydroVision International 2014, I thought I’d take a quick second this week just to take care of a few housekeeping items.

First and perhaps foremost for those who have yet to register for HydroVision is that the early bird discount rate for full conference delegates ends Friday, June 13. The special is good for up to US$150 in savings, so be sure to check that out if you still haven’t signed up to attend.

Second, we’re again pleased to offer three really solid technical tours that will highlight some of the top hydropower projects within the region. Included across the itineraries are stops at the Barkley, Kentucky, Old Hickory and Center Hill dams, with each tour offering unique opportunities to learn about the projects’ histories, maintenance, operation and more. Registration is still available — though limited — and attendees for each tour must sign up before Friday, June 20.

Third, we’ve added a new section to that we’re calling “Hydro TV“. This video gallery features news from HydroVision International 2014 exhibitors, and weekly updates and announcements about the event. Hydro TV will also include highlights from this year’s conference and exhibition following the conclusion of HydroVision International 2014.

So, there’s just a few things, but with HydroVision just weeks away, be on the lookout for all the latest news here at and
