India developer seeks equipment bids for 15-MW Ranja-Ala-Dunadi

Choudhary Power Projects seeks bids for electro-mechanical and associated works for the 15-MW Ranja-Ala-Dunadi hydroelectric project in India’s Jammu and Kashmir State. Bids are due January 11, 2008.

To be built in the Upper Kalnai Nallah area of Doda District, Ranja-Ala-Dunadi is to feature two 7.5-MW turbine-generators. Choudhary estimates the cost of the works at 300 million rupees (US$7.5 million).

Bid documents may be obtained from the address below until December 22 for 10,000 rupees (US$250 by demand draft to Choudhary Power Projects at Jammu. A bidders meeting is scheduled December 28.
