India developer seeks equipment for 100-MW Tidong 1

Nuziveedu Seeds Private Ltd. seeks bids for electrical and mechanical equipment for the 100-MW Tidong 1 hydroelectric project on the Tidong River in India’s Himachal Pradesh State. Bids are due January 21, 2009.

Nuziveedu won a concession to develop Tidong 1 in a solicitation by the Himachal Pradesh State Electricity Board. The project is proposed for Kinnaur District on the Tidong, a tributary of the Satluj River.

The developer seeks design, supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of equipment including two 50-MW turbine-generators.

Bid documents may be obtained in person from the address below for 5,000 rupees (US$100) or for 6,000 rupees (US$120) if obtained by mail. The fee is payable by demand draft to Nuziveedu Seeds Private Ltd. at New Delhi.
