India developer seeks equipment for 3.5-MW Ambai

Arch Hydro Power Projects Private Ltd. seeks bids for electro-mechanical works for the 3.5-MW Ambai hydroelectric project, to be built in Kolhapur District of India’s Maharashtra State. Bids are due August 30.

Arch seeks design, engineering, manufacturing, inspection, transportation, installation, supervision, testing, and commissioning of two 1.75-MW turbine-generators and related equipment on an engineering-procurement-construction basis. (HNN 12/11/06)

Bid documents may be obtained until August 6 from the address below for a fee of 10,000 rupees or US$250 by check, cash, or demand draft to Arch at Pune. Courier delivery costs an additional 700 rupees or US$100. Documents also may be obtained from the Internet site www.wat-ere-source.com, with the fee to be paid before the pre-bid meeting.

The pre-bid meeting is scheduled for 11 a.m. August 11 at the address below. Bids are due by 1 p.m. August 30.
