India firm seeks development consultant for 40-MW Renuka

Pabbar Valley Power Corp. Ltd. (PVPCL), a subsidiary of India’s Himachal Pradesh State Electricity Board, seeks proposals from consultants to help develop the 40-MW Renuka Dam hydroelectric project in Sirmour District of Himachal Pradesh. Bids are due February 22.

The 93-month consultancy services are to provide for selection of an engineering, procurement, and construction contractor, and execution and commissioning of the project on the Grill River at Dadahu.

Renuka includes a 148-meter-tall earth and rockfill dam, three diversion tunnels of 1,400 meters in length and seven meters in diameter, coffer dams, chute spillway, and dam toe powerhouse with two 20-MW generating units.

Bid documents may be obtained until February 15 from the address below for 10,000 rupees or US$500 by demand draft to PVPCL.
