India firm seeks equipment, construction of 8.25-MW Raini

India developer Rishiganga Power Corp. Ltd. seeks bids by 1 p.m. April 26 for civil construction and hydro-mechanical equipment for the 8.25-MW Raini hydroelectric project at Raini, Chamoli District, Uttaranchal State.

Bids are sought for any or all the following:
o Diversion weir, intake structure, feeder tunnel, desilting tank, cut and cover, and approach roads;
o Headrace tunnel;
o Surge shaft, powerhouse, penstock, and tailrace; and
o Hydro-mechanical equipment including gates, hoists, trash racks, and penstocks.

Bid documents may be obtained until April 26 from the address below for 5,000 rupees (US$112), plus courier charges of 1,000 rupees (US$22.40), by cash, check, or demand draft to Dr. Hutarew &Partner (India) Pvt. Ltd. at New Delhi.
