India firm seeks silt systems for 990-MW Dehar

Bhakra Beas Management Board (BBMB) seeks bids by July 10 for six silt separators for the 990-MW Dehar hydroelectric project on Satluj River in India’s Himachal Pradesh State.

BBMB seeks silt separators with silt disposal systems for the cooling circuits of six 165-MW units. Although bids will be for six separators, only one will be supplied initially and its performance watched during the 2008 monsoon season.

Prospective bidders must submit qualifications and request tender documents by 5 p.m. June 30 from the address below for 2,000 rupees (US$45) by crossed demand draft to Senior Accounts Officer, BBMB, at Chandigarh.
