India IPP seeks hydropower equipment

Independent power producer Bhoruka Power Corp. seeks expressions of interest for the supply of hydroelectric power equipment. Responses are due September 18.

Bhoruka, a developer of small hydro plants, including several in India’s Karnataka and Haryana states, seeks design, manufacture, supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of a range of equipment.

Equipment to be procured includes: horizontal shaft Francis turbines, electro-hydraulic units for operating guide vanes, synchronous generators, water-level sensors, EOT cranes, drainage and dewatering systems, cooling water systems, control cables, relay panels, and battery chargers.

Expressions of interest are due by September 18. The company expects to purchase equipment by international competition within two to six months.
