India state seeks dam for 250-MW Paras Expansion

Maharashtra State Power Generation Co. Ltd. seeks bids for construction of Lower Mun Barrage at its 250-MW Paras Expansion project in Maharashtra State’s Akola District.

The roller-compact-concrete dam includes radial gates, stoplog gates, goliath crane, rope drum hoists, and related equipment, to be commissioned in 18 months.

Bid documents may be obtained from the address below until January 19 for 25,000 rupees (US$562) by demand draft to Maharashtra State Power Generation Co. Ltd., Mumbai. At a January 22 pre-bid conference the final date for submission of bids will be disclosed.
