India state seeks developers for six small sites

The Maharashtra State Water Resources Department invites applications for pre-qualification to develop six small hydroelectric projects, totaling 14.25 MW. Responses are due December 15.

The projects are offered for development to generate power for self-consumption or as independent power producers in Maharashtra. They include:
o CE(E)/HP/SHP/CPP/IPP/4A-3 — 2-MW Hetawane, Raigad District;
o CE(E)/HP/SHP/CPP/IPP/19A — 3.2-MW Gaibi, Kolhapur District;
o CE(E)/HP/SHP/CPP/IPP/20A — 3.5-MW Ambai, Kolhapur District;
o CE(E)/HP/SHP/CPP/IPP/23A — 350-kW Mun, Buldhana District;
o CE(E)/HP/SHP/CPP/IPP/26 — 2-MW Jambre, Kolhapur District;
o CE(E)/HP/SHP/CPP/IPP/27 � 1.2-MW Mahamadwadi, Sindhudurg District.
