India state seeks switchyard equipment for 84-MW Myntdu Leshka

Meghalaya State Electricity Board (MSEB) seeks bids to supply switchyard equipment for the 84-MW Myntdu Leshka hydro project on the Myntdu River in Meghalaya State. Bids documents must be obtained by March 9.

MSEB seeks switchyard structures, protection equipment, control and relay panels, power and control cables, earthing systems, and interconnection towers between powerhouse and switchyard.

VA Tech India Pvt. Ltd. and VA Tech Escher Wyss Flovel, received an order from MSEB in 2006 to supply two 42-MW Francis turbines, digital governors, generators, excitation systems, controls, and protection.

Bid documents may be obtained until March 9 by written request to the address below for 10,000 rupees (US$225) by demand draft to Principal Account, MeSEB Shillong, at Shillong. A deadline for submission of bids was not announced.
