India state seeks turnkey, O&M for small hydros

Bihar State Hydroelectric Power Corp. (BSHPC) seeks bids for turnkey construction of three small hydro plants on Eastern Gandak Canal in Bihar’s West Champaran District.

Two-part bids — technical/commercial and price — are invited to build:
o 1.5-MW Dhoba, documents available to September 12, bids due October 4;
o 1.5-MW Katanya, documents available to September 18, bids due October 9; and
o 750-kW Mathauli (also spelled Mathouli), documents available to September 20, bids due October 16.

Tender documents may be obtained for 25,000 rupees (US$610) for each plant, plus 250 rupees (US$6.10) postal charge, payable by cash or demand draft to Bihar State Hydroelectric Power Corp. Ltd., at Patna.

BSHPC also seeks two-part bids — technical/commercial and price — for operation and maintenance of five small hydro projects:
o 1-MW Dhelabagh, documents available to September 10, bids due September 27;
o 1-MW Agnoor, documents available to September 18, bids due October 3;
o 1-MW Nasriganj, documents available to September 24, bids due October 10;
o 1-MW Jainagara, documents available to October 1, bids due October 15;
o 3-MW Triveni, documents available to October 8, bids due October 23.

Those tender documents may be obtained for 10,000 rupees (US$244) for each plant, plus 200 rupees (US$5) postal charge, payable by cash or demand draft to Bihar State Hydroelectric Power Corp. Ltd., at Patna.
