India utility seeks transformer for 105-MW Loktak

National Hydroelectric Power Corp. seeks bids by June 22 to supply a transformer for the 105-MW Loktak hydroelectric project, which is undergoing refurbishment on the Loktak River in India’s Manipur State.

Work is to include design, manufacture, supply, installation, and commissioning of one No. 13.33 megavolt-ampere, ONAF, 11/132/3 kilovolt, single-phase generator step-up transformer.

Qualified bidders may obtain bid documents by June 17 from the address below on payment of 1,000 rupees (US$23), plus 300 rupees (US$7) for delivery. Payment is by crossed demand draft to National Hydroelectric Power Corp. payable at State Bank of India, Loktak HEPA Branch, Code No. 05329, Manipur. Applicants also may obtain the bid documents from NHPC’s Internet site,, and submit the document fee with the bid.
