India’s extends transformer bid date for 105-MW Loktak

National Hydroelectric Power Corp. (NHPC) has extended the bidding deadline to supply a transformer for the 105-MW Loktak hydroelectric project, which is undergoing refurbishment on the Loktak River in Manipur State. The new deadline is August 3.

Work is to include design, manufacture, supply, installation, and commissioning of one No. 13.33 megavolt-ampere, ONAF, 11/132/3 kilovolt, single-phase generator step-up transformer.

The deadline for obtaining bid documents also was extended to July 29. Qualified bidders may obtain documents from the address below on payment of 1,000 rupees (US$23), plus 300 rupees (US$7) for delivery. Payment is by crossed demand draft to National Hydroelectric Power Corp. payable at State Bank of India, Loktak HEPA Branch, Code No. 05329, Manipur. Applicants also may obtain the bid documents from NHPC’s Internet site, www.nhpcindia.com, and submit the document fee with the bid.
