India’s Haryana State seeks independent power

Haryana Power Generation Corp. Ltd. invites requests for qualification by June 29 for supply of long-term power ranging from 5 MW to a maximum of 2,000 MW.

Bidders could generators or power traders with a commitment of power from a generator. Power contracts would be for 15, 25, or 35 years, with the longest terms offered to hydro projects.

Qualification documents may be obtained until June 29 from the address below for 30,000 rupees (US$675) by demand draft to Senior Accounts Officer, HPGCL, at Panchkula. Applications for qualification are due June 29. Short-listed bidders will be issued request for proposal documents.
