India’s NHPC again seeks bidders for 330-MW Kishanganga

India’s National Hydroelectric Power Corp. (NHPC) has renewed its call for applications to pre-qualify for construction of the 330-MW Kishanganga hydropower project. Responses are due by 3:30 p.m. August 18.

Pre-qualification documents may be obtained until 5 p.m. August 14 from the address below by application labeled “Request for Pre-qualification Invitation Document for Turnkey Execution for Kishanganga H.E. Project.” The request must be accompanied by 40,000 rupees or US$1,000 in the form of a demand draft to National Hydroelectric Power Corp. payable at Faridabad.

Documents also may be obtained from NHPC’s Internet site, Those who do so are to inform the address below at least 15 days in advance of the pre-qualification deadline and submit the application with the document fee in a separate envelope marked “Cost of PQ Invitation Document downloaded from Internet.”

Firms who paid the document fee for the solicitation in April are exempt from the current fee.
