India’s NHPC seeks shunt reactors for 540-MW Chamera 1 hydro project

India’s NHPC Ltd. seeks bids to supply three 420-kilovolt, 42-megavolt-ampere reactive shunt reactors for the 540-MW Chamera 1 hydroelectric project in India’s Himachal Pradesh State. Bids are due February 15.

Chamera was completed in 1994 on the Ravi River in Chamba District.

The hydro developer seeks bids to design, manufacture, install, test, and commission the three units and all accessories.

Tender documents may be purchased until 5 p.m. February 14.
