Iran invites pre-qualification for 450-MW Roudbar Loresstan

Iran Water and Power Resources Development Co. invites applications for pre-qualification for design, construction, and financing of the 450-MW Roudbar Loresstan hydroelectric project in Loresstan Province, Iran.

Work includes construction of a 158-meter-tall, 1.1 million-cubic-meter, roller-compacted-concrete dam; a hydropower plant containing two 225-MW vertical Francis turbine-generators; water tunnels; and a 400-kilovolt substation.

Bid documents, in English, may be obtained until June 24 from the address below upon payment of 400,000 rials (US$44), payable to Account No. 22817817, Motahari Branch of Tejarat Bank of Iran. Interested contractors also may express their interest by obtaining a contractor’s questionnaire from the address below.
