Italian province seeks civil construction of 4.19-MW Belfiore small hydro project

Verona’s municipal utility seeks bids for civil works to complete construction of the 4.19-MW Belfiore small hydroelectric project in Belfiore, Verona Province, Italy. Bids are due September 15.

Azienda Generale Servizi Municipali di Verona SpA (AGSM) proposes to construct the small hydro plant below the 20-MW Zevio hydro project on SAVA Canal on the Adige River. It awarded a contract in February to Andino Hydropower Engineering Sarl to supply and install electro-mechanical equipment including three Kaplan turbine-generators at Belfiore.

AGSM now seeks bids for power plant civil works, modification of existing civil works, and installation of gates for completion of the small hydro project. The work is expected to take six months at a cost of 7.46 million euros (US$9.87 million).

Tender documents may be obtained from the address below. Bids, in Italian, are due by noon September 15.
