New hydro development is focus of HydroVision International conference track

New hydropower project development is the focus of a conference track offered at the upcoming HydroVision International Conference and Exhibition in North Carolina.

HydroVision International, the year’s largest gathering of hydropower professionals, is planned for July 27-30, 2010, at the Charlotte Convention Center in Charlotte, N.C.

The New Development track will feature sessions on important topics in hydro development, including managing risk, equipment solutions, project planning, project construction and other issues. Sessions covering environmental perspectives on hydro development and energy storage also are included in the track.

Ten concurrent tracks and 70 sessions are offered at this year’s HydroVision event.

HydroVision International will highlight perspectives on the role of hydropower, explore issues affecting hydro resources and help participants develop a vision to meet challenges and ensure the future sustainability of hydropower. The conference will bring together a broad range of worldwide hydro professionals with environmental, technical, social and regulatory perspectives.

Hydro Review, HRW-Hydro Review Worldwide and PennEnergy are flagship media sponsors of HydroVision International, which is owned and produced by PennWell.
