Niger agency seeks recruiter for basin management program

The Niger Basin authority seeks expressions of interest from consultants to serve as personnel recruiters with experience in dams, project management, and development. Responses are due April 7.

L’Autorite du Bassin du Niger (ABN) seeks a consulting firm to recruit, interview, and recommend personnel to support ABN’s program of water resource development and sustainable management of ecosystems of the Niger Basin.

The consultant recruiter team must have expertise in areas including dams, project management, management and accountancy, and rural development. Engineering and design personnel must be fluent in English and French.

The authority previously sought consultants to develop an implementation handbook for water resources development and sustainable ecosystem management. (HNN 3/7/07)
