Nile Basin Initiative seeks planning, finance executives

The 10-nation Nile Basin Initiative (NBI) is recruiting planning and finance executives to help it achieve socio-economic development through cooperative development and management of Nile Basin water resources. Applicants must respond by May 9.

With funding from World Bank agencies, NBI recently called for bids to supply map scanner/plotter equipment to eight offices. (HNN 3/21/08)

The current solicitation seeks a Head, Strategic Planning and Management to lead strategic planning, water policy, and water resource management. It also seeks a Head, Finance and Administration to help achieve aggregated budgeting, financial and performance reporting, and high-quality corporate services policies.

Candidates must have post-graduate degrees and 10 years of executive-level experience.
