Nile Basin seeks project planning, management training

The 10-nation Nile Basin Initiative (NBI) seeks expressions of interest from consultants to provide training in project planning and management to staff of NBI countries. Responses are due July 17.

NBI already is seeking expressions of interest by June 30 from consultants to compile data and test a new Basin Decision Support System for its water resources planning and management program. (HNN 6/2/08)

The current solicitation calls for consultants to provide training in project preparation and implementation and to assess capacity of regional training institutions that could provide further training to professionals in Nile Basin countries.

Expressions of interest and qualifications, labeled �Application to be shortlisted for Project Planning and Management Training,� are due to the address below by 3 p.m. July 17.
