Norway generator pre-qualifies equipment suppliers

Norway hydro operator Nord-Trondelag Elektrisitetsverk Holding AS (NTE) invites applications for pre-qualification to supply turbine-generator equipment up to 5 MW.

NTE said it is extending a series of small hydropower installations in the region of from 500 kW to 5 MW. It seeks to pre-qualify suppliers of Francis, Pelton, and Kaplan turbines, generators, shut-off valves, regulators, and control installations.

It said the qualification system would extend through October 2010.

NTE said further information and documentation would be available on the Doffin Web Site at www.doffin.no/Search/Search_Switch.aspx?ID=103568.
