Norway utility seeks transformer for 4.2-MW Solbjorn

Norway utility Lofotkraft Produksjon AS seeks bids to replace a transformer and other equipment for the 4.2-MW Solbjorn hydroelectric project at Moinarodden, Norway. Bids are due June 20.

Lofotkraft took bids in April for a 5-MW replacement turbine and other equipment for Solbjorn.

The utility currently seeks a power transformer, apparatus, and control plant for Solbjorn, which was built in 1956. The work is valued at between 3 million and 5 million kroner (US$539,000 and US$898,000).
