Norway utility seeks turbine, penstock for new 5-MW Haukland

Norway utility Dalane Kraft AS seeks bids to supply a turbine and a penstock for a new 5-MW Haukland hydroelectric project at Lund, Norway. Bids in separate solicitations are due November 1 and December 1.

In one solicitation, Dalane Kraft seeks bids by November 1 to supply the complete electro-mechanical package, including one horizontal Francis turbine-generator, for a new power station to be built at the site of the 3.9-MW Haukland project. The unit is to be designed for maximum flow of 2.2 cubic meters per second, head of 246 meters and speed of 1,000 rpm.

Tender documents may be obtained from the address below until October 31.

In a second solicitation, the utility seeks bids by December 1 to supply a new 1,110-meter penstock for the new power station, replacing the existing power station having two penstocks on the same route.
