Outlet civil work sought by French utility for 546-MW La Bathie

Electricite de France (EDF) seeks bids for civil engineering to refurbish the outlet channel of the 546-MW La Bathie hydroelectric project in France’s Savoy Department. Bids are due April 30.

The 50-year-old La Bathie was among 12 projects for which EDF sought replacement governors and excitation systems in 2008. (HydroWorld 9/11/08)

The current solicitation includes work on cofferdams, a regulation valve, dewatering pumps, and earthwork.

Bid documents may be obtained from the address below. Bids, in French, are due by 4 p.m. April 30.
