The Ontario Waterpower Association has issued a call for abstracts in anticipation of OWA’s annual Power of Water Canada conference.
This year’s conference takes place Oct. 19-21 at the White Oaks Conference Resort in Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ontario.
This year’s event “features presentations that discuss the key challenges and opportunities for our sector,” OWA said, with presenters sought in the following topics:
- Modernization of Electrical Systems
- Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) and Plant Automation
- Rehabilitating and Upgrading Turbines
- Research and Development — New Trends to Improve Plant Efficiency
All submissions will be reviewed by the Power of Water Canada Conference Committee and evaluated on their quality of information, relevance, and value to conference delegates.
OWA said abstracts should not exceed 600 words in length, and that all submissions are due by March 31.
Primary contacts will be notified via email by April 15 as to whether their abstract has been selected.
