Pakistan seeks generator coolers for 3,478-MW Tarbela

Pakistan’s Water and Power Development Authority (WAPDA) seeks bids to supply generator surface air coolers for the 3,478-MW Tarbela hydroelectric project on the Indus River. Bids are due September 25.

WAPDA took bids in August to supply spares for two overhead bridge cranes at Tarbela. In addition, WAPDA is pre-qualifying firms for civil construction and electro-mechanical equipment for the 1,410-MW Tarbela 4th Extension project.

WAPDA now seeks bids for supply of Types 1 and 2 generator surface air coolers for Tarbela.

Solicitation documents may be obtained from the address below for 2,000 rupees (US$21) by pay order or bank draft to Chief Engineer (Power), WAPDA, Tarbela, payable on M/s Habib Bank Ltd., G.I.K.I Branch Topi-1979 (A/C No. 19790006519303).
