Peru seeks hydropower studies in seven river basins

The government of Peru invites expressions of interest from consultants to develop hydropower project portfolios for seven river basins in Peru. Responses are due August 8.

With funding from the Inter-American Development Bank, the Ministry of Economy and Finance seeks development of hydro portfolios for river basins of Apurimac, Madre de Dios, Purus, Grande, Chili, Tambo and Titicaca.

Information on the solicitation may be obtained from the ministry’s Internet site under the efficient and sustainable energy program Programa para la Gestion Eficiente y Sostenible de los Recursos Energeticos (PROSEMER), www.mef.gob.pe/contenidos/ucps/PROSEMER.php.
