Portugal generator seeks equipment for 1.5-MW Viela

Hydro generator Empreendimentos Hidroelectricos do Alto Tamega e Barroso SA (ATB) seeks bids to equip the 1.5-MW Viela hydroelectric project. Bids are due June 21.

ATB seeks bids for design, supply, and installation of electro-mechanical, hydro-mechanical, and auxiliary equipment for the Viela project. Equipment is to include a Kaplan turbine and synchronous generator. The value of the contract is estimated at 1.8 million euros (US$2.4 million).

The plant is to utilize flows of the Beca River discharged from the 10-MW Bragadas project before the water is restored to the Tamega River.

Tender documents may be obtained from the address below until 5 p.m. June 20 for 750 euros (US$1,015) by cash or check to ATB.
