Professional development hours available for 2015 NHA annual conference attendees

The 2015 National Hydropower Association annual conference, scheduled April 26-29 at the Capital Hilton Hotel in Washington D.C., is the perfect opportunity for professional development.

NHA annual conference attendees are eligible to receive 14 professional development hours. Instructions on how to access your certificate of completion will automatically be emailed to all attendees following the NHA Annual Conference.

Some of the scheduled sessions include the following:

– Plenary Session: Hydro’s Value in Today’s Energy Market;
– Session: Hot Topics in Hydro Development — Bringing New Megawatts Online;
– Session: Role of Dams in a Water-Constrained World; and
– Event: Networking Reception and NHA Past Presidents’ Scholarship Fund Silent Auction.

During four days of informative seminars, informational meetings and structured social events, attendees have the opportunity to both share their great knowledge and grow, as they learn the latest information within the hydroelectric power industry.

Also, new this year, the International Marine Renewable Energy Conference and Marine Energy Technology Symposium will be co-located at NHA’s conference venue.

Hydroelectric project owners, operators, scientists, academia, financiers/insurers and Washington D.C.-based government officials signify a few examples of who attends NHA’s annual event.

Past attendees say networking is one of the most important benefits gained from their personal interaction with industry leaders and the concentration of people who work at all levels of decision-making in the hydroelectric policy-making process.
