The event incorporates the National Hydropower Association Annual Conference, International Marine Renewable Energy Conference (IMREC) and Marine Energy Technology Symposium (METS).

Waterpower Week in Washington again features some of the hydroelectric sector’s most prominent policy and decision makers, making it a must-attend event for all those working in or interested in the U.S. market.

The upcoming conference slate for the NHA Annual Conference already features sessions devoted to regulation and policy, relicensing, building the future workforce, advancing pumped storage, the Clean Power Plan and more.

The conference content is available for viewing online here.

IMREC is an important and unique event to bring together individuals interested in marine energy to share challenges, find solutions and continue to move this industry forward. Topics being discussed at IMREC include financing instruments, best management practices, global regulatory developments and environmental monitoring.

More information on IMREC is available here.

The main objective of METS is to provide a venue where technical experts can publish and present wave and water current energy research that helps accelerate the pace of marine energy technology development.

Waterpower Week in Washington takes place April 25-27 just steps from the White House at the Capital Hilton.
