Reclamation awards contract for Anderson Ranch Dam parts refurbishment

The U.S. Bureau of Reclamation has awarded a US$198,285 contract to Precision Machine and Supply Inc. to refurbish a jet valve at the 27-MW Anderson Ranch Dam hydropower plant in Idaho.

Reclamation last sought bids for the project from small businesses in July, which calls for work on the Anderson Ranch project’s 72-inch hollow jet valve.

The Anderson Ranch Dam hydroelectric facility is on the South Fork of the Boise River.
