The Bureau of Reclamation has extended the deadline for bids for spillway concrete apron repair at 50-MW Canyon Ferry Dam in Montana. Bids now are due July 21.
Reclamation’s Great Plains Regional Office previously called for bids by July 7. The agency said in April it was reissuing a solicitation for spillway work at Canyon Ferry, which was built in 1954 on the Missouri River as part of the Pick-Sloan Missouri Basin Project. It earlier called for bids for the work in March.
Reclamation seeks work including saw cutting and removal of concrete in the dam spillway and roadway, reinforcement in repair areas, and replacement of concrete. The work is located on steep slopes of the spillway above the water level in the stilling basin and on top of the dam. The work is expected to cost $250,000 to $500,000.
A solicitation notice may be obtained from the Federal Business Opportunities Internet site, www.fbo.gov, by entering Solicitation No. R11PS60267 in the “Keyword/Solicitation #” box.
