Sweden utility seeks construction at 114-MW Langbjorn

Vattenfall AB Vattenkraft invites applications for pre-qualification to carry out rehabilitation construction for the 114-MW Langbjorn hydroelectric plant in Sweden. Responses are due April 21.

Vattenfall previously invited applications for pre-qualification to refurbish two generators at the plant on the Angermanalven River.

The latest solicitation seeks miscellaneous construction work to be carried out from June through March 2007.

Bidding documents may be obtained from the address below. Applications for pre-qualification, in Swedish, are due to the address below by April 21. The utility plans to invite bids from a maximum of ten short-listed firms on April 28.
