Swiss utility seeks to replace turbine-generator at 2.5-MW Arni hydro project

Lucerne utility ewl Kabelnetz AG seeks bids to replace the turbine-generator unit of the 2.5-MW Arni hydroelectric project in Switzerland. Bids are due March 27.

Swiss utility Viteos SA took bids in November to supply turbine-generators for the Serrieres hydroelectric project while Hydro Exploitation SA took bids in September to replace a turbine-generator at the 27-MW Bramois project in Switzerland.

Ewl said it seeks bids to supply a multi-nozzle Pelton turbine with 2.8 megavolt-ampere generating set as a replacement for the existing turbine-generator at Arni. The work is to be performed between October 2015 and April 2016.

Tender documents may be obtained from the address below. Bids in German are due by 4 p.m. March 27.
