Time running out to nominate for Power Generation Week Projects of the Year, Woman of the Year awards programs

Time is running out to nominate projects for the Power Generation Week awards program.

Honors will be given for Projects of the Year in a number of categories, alongside a single Woman of the Year award.

Eligible for consideration as Project of the Year are:

  • Best Renewable Energy Project
  • Best Coal-Fired Project
  • Best Natural Gas Project
  • Best Nuclear Plant
  • Best CHP Project

The award honors “excellence in design, construction and engineering of power generation facilities worldwide,” according to program coordinators.

Meanwhile, the Woman of the Year award will be given to a woman who has demonstrated hard work, vision and determination in moving the power industry forward.

The deadline to submit entries for all awards is August 31, 2016. Full details can be found at PowerGenerationWeek.com.

Power Generation Week takes place Dec. 11-15 at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando. The event includes Renewable Energy World International, POWER-GEN International, Nuclear Power Internationa, Coal-Gen and GenForum.
