Turkey developer seeks further construction of 204-MW Alpaslan 2

A unit of Turkish hydro developer Enerjisa seeks bids to construct additional civil works of the 204-MW Alpaslan 2 hydroelectric project on Turkey’s Murat River. Bids are due November 30.

Enerjisa Enerji Uretim A.S. also called for bids by November 26 to supply electro-mechanical equipment for Alpaslan 2. It took bids in February for other civil and hydro-mechanical works.

Enerjisa now seeks bids for construction of the clay core rockfill dam body, a spillway, two 6.3-meter-diameter energy tunnels of 160 and 170 meters in length, a drainage gallery and grouting works, a switchyard, and powerhouse. The work is expected to require 44 months.

Tender documents may be obtained from the address below. Bids are due by 4 p.m. November 30.
