Turkey utility seeks electro-mechanical equipment for 168.4-MW Incir Dam hydro project

A unit of Turkish hydro developer Enerjisa seeks bids to supply electro-mechanical equipment for the 168.4-MW Incir Dam hydroelectric project on Turkey’s Buyuk Cay River. Bids are due August 12.

IBA Elektrik Uretim Madencilik ve Sanayi Ticaret A.S., a unit of Enerjisa, took bids in July for construction of Incir, including a 150-meter-tall roller-compacted-concrete dam.

Enerjisa announced in April that European hydro utilities Verbund and E.ON finalized an international asset exchange that gave E.ON a half-interest in Enerjisa with Turkey’s Sabanci. Another Enerjisa unit, Enerjisa Enerji Uretim A.S., took bids in November to construct civil works at the 204-MW Alpaslan 2 hydro project.

IBA Elektrik Uretim now seeks bids for design, procurement, manufacturing, installation, testing, and commissioning of equipment including turbine-generators, valves, balance of plant, controls, protection, switchgear, and generator step-up transformers for Incir. The work is to require 36 months.

Tender documents may be obtained from the address below until August 11. Bids are due by 4 p.m. August 12.
