U.S. land agency seeks reconstruction of Montana’s Judy Dam

The Bureau of Land Management seeks bids for reconstruction of Judy Dam in Valley County, Montana. Bids are due April 4.

The Bureau of Land Management administers 245 million acres of U.S. lands, including their extensive watersheds.

In a solicitation set aside for small business, BLM seeks bids for dam rehabilitation and repair. Work is to include: dewatering reservoir as necessary; excavating dam embankment for removal of 30-inch-diameter corrugated steel outlet pipe; construction of precast reinforced concrete outlet conduit, precast concrete spillway riser for new principal spillway and grouted riprap stilling basin; and reconstruction of dam embankment at new outlet works.

The work is valued at $100,000 to $500,000.
