U.S. Reclamation seeks jet valve refurbishment at 27-MW Anderson Ranch

BOISE, Idaho, U.S. 7/3/12 (PennWell) — The Bureau of Reclamation seeks bids for refurbishment of a 72-inch hollow jet valve at 27-MW Anderson Ranch Dam in Idaho. Bids are due July 17.

In a solicitation set aside for small businesses, Reclamation said the work is to be completed at the contractor’s facility. The government is to lift the valve onto the contractor’s transport vehicle for movement from Anderson Ranch Dam, on the South Fork of the Boise River.

U.S. Reclamation seeks surveyors in Idaho, Oregon, Washington

BOISE, Idaho, U.S. 5/8/12 (PennWell) — The Bureau of Reclamation seeks bids from architect-engineering firms to provide surveying services related to Reclamation water resources facilities in Idaho, Oregon, Washington, and parts of Montana and Wyoming. Bids are due June 12.

In a solicitation set aside for small businesses, Reclamation’s Pacific Northwest Regional Office plans to award up to three indefinite-delivery indefinite-quantity contracts, one each for Idaho, Oregon, and Washington with a maximum value of $2 million per contract.

Work is to include surveying assistance on an intermittent, as-needed basis in support of Reclamation efforts to improve salmon and steelhead habitat and in support of other Reclamation activities including operation and maintenance of its dams, power plants, and other facilities.
