U.S. seeks electrical components maintenance at 3.65-MW Stampede Dam

The Bureau of Reclamation seeks bids to perform maintenance, testing, and calibration of generators and electrical components of the 3.65-MW Stampede Dam hydroelectric plant on California’s Little Truckee River. Bids are due May 3.

Reclamation took bids in April from small businesses to perform dam safety civil construction at Stampede Dam. The project is part of Reclamation’s Washoe Project, which also includes Marble Bluff Dam and Prosser Creek Dam.

In a solicitation set aside for small businesses, Reclamation now seeks bids for maintenance, testing, and calibration of generators and electrical components at the Stampede hydro plant including protective relays, instrument transformers, non-disconnect interrupters, hydroelectric generators, power transformer KY1A, switchgear unit circuit breakers, station service switchgear transformer and circuit breakers, and panel meters.

A solicitation notice may be obtained from the Federal Business Opportunities Internet site, www.fbo.gov, by entering Solicitation No. R13PS20079 in the “Keyword/Solicitation #” box.

Bids are due May 3. For information, contact Linda Joy Turner, Contract Specialist, Bureau of Reclamation – MP – Regional Office, 2800 Cottage Way, Room E-1815, Sacramento, CA 95825; (1) 916-978-5544; E-mail: lturner@usbr.gov.
