BIA, an Interior Department agency with numerous water resources facilities on its territories, issued two solicitations for engineering work to be performed at various Indian reservations in the western United States. One solicitation, No. RMK00100098, calls for applications by 3 p.m. Eastern time, Aug. 23 to the address below for professional engineering services to power facilities. Applicants should have experience in civil and structural engineering, mechanical and geo-technical engineering, electrical engineering, anthropology, history, Endangered Species Act and National Environmental Policy Act compliance, surveying and geographic information systems, and geo-database management.
A second solicitation, No. RMK00100097, calls for applications by 3 p.m. Eastern time, Aug. 27 to the address below for professional engineering services to irrigation and dam facilities. Applicants should have experience in civil and hydraulic engineering, structural and mechanical engineering, agricultural and irrigation engineering, dam safety, certified emergency manager equivalent to the International Association of Emergency Management requirements, anthropology, history, Endangered Species Act and National Environmental Policy Act compliance, surveying and geographic information systems, and geo-database management.
Pre-selection boards are to convene for the selection of firms for indefinite delivery indefinite quantity contracts. Subsequently, contract negotiations will be conducted with five highest ranked firms for each solicitation.
