U.S. seeks firms for hydraulic, hydrologic engineering in Northwest

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers seeks information on firms able to perform hydraulic and hydrologic engineering for water resources projects in Oregon and southwestern Washington. Responses are due Nov. 14.

The Corps’ Tulsa District recruited firms in September to provide hydrologic and hydraulic engineering and design services and related software development in the Corps’ Southwestern Division. The Huntington District took information in February on firms capable of providing hydraulic studies for dam break analysis, hydrologic data and drainage system design.

In sources sought notice, the Corps’ Portland District now seeks information on firms able to provide services for hydraulic and hydrologic engineering services for evaluation, analysis and design of water resources civil works projects. Responses will be used to determine the type of solicitation to be issued.

The sources sought notice may be obtained from the Federal Business Opportunities Internet site, www.fbo.gov, by entering Solicitation No. W9127N-SOURCESSOUGHT-HYDRO in the “Keyword/Solicitation #” box.
