U.S. seeks firms for surveying, mapping in Pacific Northwest

Bonneville Dam

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers invites expressions of interest from firms to provide surveying and mapping services in the Portland District of the Corps’ Northwestern Division. Responses are due Sept. 8.

The Corps’ Walla Walla District issued a similar solicitation in 2011. It awarded a $5 million contract to Rogers Surveying Inc. in 2012 for such work.

In a solicitation set aside for small businesses, the Corps’ Portland District now seeks expressions of interest in supplying hydrographic and geodetic control surveying services. It anticipates issuing an indefinite-delivery indefinite-quantity contract for five years with a maximum value of $6 million.

Primary assignments are to be in Oregon and Washington for a lengthy list of services at Corps hydroelectric and water resources projects.

A pre-solicitation notice may be obtained from the Federal Business Opportunities Internet site, www.fbo.gov, by entering solicitation No. W9127N14R0040 in the “Keyword/Solicitation #” box. Bidders are required to submit Standard Form 330 packages by 4 p.m., Pacific time, Sept. 8 to the address below. Forms may be obtained on the Internet at www.gsa.gov/portal/forms/type/TOP/category/22457/hostUri/portal.
