The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers seeks information on firms capable of replacing flood gates and rehabilitating liners at the 80-MW Denison Dam hydroelectric project in Texas. Responses are due Jan. 30.
The Corps’ Tulsa District also seeks bids by Feb. 3 to replace two turbine runners at Denison Dam. The project forms Texoma Lake on the Red River in Texas. The Tulsa District took bids in 2011 for events recording and warning equipment at Denison and seven other hydroelectric projects in Oklahoma and Texas.
The Corps now seeks capability statements from firms able to replace two flood gates and to rehabilitate and paint frames and liners at Denison. It plans to use the information to develop a solicitation for the work, which is valued at $1 million to $5 million.
