U.S. seeks hydrologic, hydraulic engineering in Southwest

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers invites expressions of interest from firms to provide hydrologic and hydraulic engineering and design services and related software development in the Corps’ Southwestern Division. Responses are due Sept. 12.

The Corps’ Huntington District took information in February on firms capable of providing hydraulic studies for dam break analysis, hydrologic data and drainage system design. Northwest Hydraulic Consultant Inc. won a contract in January to provide hydrologic and hydraulic planning services for the Corps’ Hydrologic Engineering Center.

Now, the Corps’ Tulsa District invites expressions of interest from firms to provide hydrologic and hydraulic engineering and design services under a three-year base contract with a two-year option period. The contract would have an estimated total amount of $9.5 million.

Services would include hydrologic and hydraulic engineering design, modeling and analysis; hydrologic and hydraulic engineering manual development; and designing, programing, customizing and troubleshooting software.

A pre-solicitation notice may be obtained from the Federal Business Opportunities Internet site, www.fbo.gov, by entering Solicitation No. W912BV14R0084 in the “Keyword/Solicitation #” box.

Interested firms are invited to submit Standard Form 330 packages to the address below by 2 p.m., Central time, Sept. 12. Forms may be obtained on the Internet at www.gsa.gov/portal/forms/type/TOP/category/22457/hostUri/portal.
