Most recently, it said it plans to seek bids for replacement turbine seal rings at Hoover, 255-MW Davis, and 120-MW Parker dam hydroelectric projects on the Colorado.

Reclamation plans to seek computational fluid dynamics, design, physical modeling, hydraulic turbine manufacturing, and supply of one turbine for Hoover Unit N8, including runner cones, coupling bolts, and design of a draft tube throat liner. It proposes an option for manufacture of three more turbines for Units A1, N5, and N6.

Estimated value of the contract is between $5 million and $20 million over four years.
