U.S. seeks spillway joint seal replacements at 132.3-MW Gavins Point

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers seeks bids to remove and replace spillway expansion joint seal replacements at 132.3-MW Gavins Point Dam in Nebraska and South Dakota. Bids are due March 15, 2010.

The Corps’ Omaha District seeks a contractor to provide all equipment, materials, and labor to remove expansion joint seals from 18 joints on the spillway and to install new compression seals in accordance with specifications. A site visit is recommended.

A pre-solicitation notice may be obtained from the Federal Business Opportunities Internet site, www.fbo.gov, by entering Solicitation No. W9128F10QG011 in the “Keyword/Solicitation #” box.
